I remember when life was simpler.

I was but a boy, curious as could be about the ever-growing world around me, every facet of every planet held something dear to me. I would sometimes sneak aboard the Galactic Tour shuttle just to get another glimpse of the worlds beauty, which always made my parents worry, as I usually was escorted home by the local Galactic Enforcers.

Mother, father, I thank God you didn't have to see this.

The vivid images of stars exploding, one by one, play out before me the same as I was shown in the temple ruins. Shattered planets, pieces of homes, flying effortlessly into the dark. Bright white fills my vision as a piercing sound whistles through my ship, which is shaking frantically, as my screens and controls fizzle and pop. The sprawling stardust spirals out into a magnificent display of color and light, rushing all around me.

This is it. I am to be consumed by my passion.

Farewell, you gorgeous mystery.
